Job Duties:
The MCA Technical Services Representative (TSR) is responsible for addressing customer-facing service calls and ensuring support contract SLA’s. Field Services Engineer
Job Summary:
The Field Services Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining one or more customer networks. For each new customer, a Field Services Engineer is responsible for ensuring a smooth transition to MCA for ongoing support. As the direct contact support arm of MCA, Field Service Engineers often solve problems on-site.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Implement MCA Projects
- Assist in Network Operations Center tasks
- Design/Install/Maintain computer networks
- Install/Configure/Test Software as necessary
- Evaluate Network Performance
- Coordinate with vendors on the customer’s behalf
Qualifications and Skills:
- This is a customer-facing position. Customer service, troubleshooting, and communication are critical.
- Working knowledge in each of the technical areas will be necessary
- Basic networks: Switching, Routing, Firewalls, Wireless
- MS Window Server: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File/Print Services
- Email Services: Office 365, Mail Flow, Mail Filtering
- VMware Virtualization: vCenter, SAN Storage

Technical Services Representative – 3'rd Shift
Looking for opportunities beyond the Monday through Friday 8 to 5 grind? Like working in a more critical thinking workspace free of the pressures of never-ending phone call volumes? MCA’s After Hours TSR position is responsible for addressing afterhours customer-facing support calls while ensuring maximum uptime to monitored services and assets. The TSR position interfaces with numerous associates of contract MCA customers to assess support need, gather and document required incident information, resolve incidents, and properly route unresolvable incidents to appropriate on call resources. This position may also be responsible for preventative maintenance tasks, software upgrades, and security patching and remediation.
Weekend only and weeknight only positions available!

Solutions Specialist
Solutions Specialist
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Job Summary:
The Solutions Specialist contributes to the success of MCA’s sales department by assisting the Sales Team with product knowledge, competitive registrations, product alignment, and quotation and presentation services. A Solutions Specialist develops a process to ensure the quick and accurate fulfillment of quote requests to “house” and “rep” account base. An exceptional Solutions Specialist adds measurable value by understanding the quote opportunity and attaching high-margin, value-added products, or services to it.
Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Build quotes for external sales reps for complicated projects, proposals, and RFP’s
- Develop relationships with MCA sales team, customers, and vendors
- Facilitate external customer sales requests
- Research products, availability, and compatibility for quotations
- Perform deal registrations and provide vendor follow up
- Participate in sales pipeline and trending
- Identify compatibility issues, missing components, and improve “attach” opportunities
- Work with procurement team to effectively hand off approved quotes for procurement
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Effective time management capabilities
- 2+ years in an external, customer-facing sales role
- Exceptional writing and language skills. Ability to convey value through written and oral presentations
- Understanding of profit margin, calculating TCO, ROI
- Strong technical product understanding. Network equipment (switches, routers, wireless, firewalls). Server hardware (CP Core, RAM, RAID, SSD/NLSAS, optimized architecture)
- Server software – Windows Server, VMWARE virtualization, SQL, Client Access Licensing
- Office 365 products and usage – OneDrive, Exchange, Office
- Strong peripheral understanding – UPS, Printers, Scanners, Monitors, etc
- Ability to attend conferences (2 times yearly) and online training, and monthly webinars.
