MCA Cares About the Community
MCA is proud to support local businesses and non-profit organizations. Each year the Collins family and MCA employees donate their time, talent, goods and money to various causes.
We support a number of local organizations, including the Forgotten Child Fund, making sure each child on the Santa Train route receives a new bicycle along with many other wonderful toys.
We also support the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Young Life, Prison & Prevention Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, Bethel Bible Village, NAACP and Central Baptist Church.
Close to Our Hearts
When Karen Collins was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in July 2011, there was nothing to do but to fight. Mike and Karen started a foundation to help find a cure for ovarian cancer. So far, we have raised over $565,000 for ovarian cancer research.
Sadly, Karen lost her battle with ovarian cancer in 2016, but the organization she founded will remain as a legacy of her commitment to eradicating this disease.
The entire MCA family is committed
Our employees also have plenty of opportunities to use company time and resources to help out.
As a group, MCA employees have donated supplies to Family Promise in Chattanooga and Operation Coffee Cup (a local couple that sends supplies to US troops), walked with Great Strides for Cystic Fibrosis, and raised money for the earthquake victims in Haiti.
Individually, the employees of MCA have supported the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, The Ronald McDonald House, The Chattanooga Food Bank, The American Red Cross, The Helen Distefano Cancer Fund, Blood Assurance, and many other organizations and churches in our community.
MCA is also very proud to be a Bronze Chamber Champion of the Chattanooga Chamber and a Silver sponsor of the Chattanooga Technology Council.
