MCA (short for Mike Collins & Associates) was founded in 1987 by Mike & Karen Collins.
About MCA
Who We Are
The unique driving force behind the success of MCA is our commitment to a high ethical standard, maintaining integrity in everything we do. We even have our own cloud hosting data center to ensure the highest possible service levels.
Core Values
We believe the only way to achieve meaningful partnership is to root ourselves firmly in our own values, treating each and every client with respect and genuine commitment.
MCA Leadership Team

Our President, Mike Collins
Mike Collins co-founded MCA with his wife, Karen, back in 1987. The company began in their home.
Prior to that, he graduated from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga with a BS in Business Management. His IT career began as a sales rep with Decision Data, where he was the top salesperson in the Southeast. After that, he spent time working with Econocom before branching out on his own.
Mike has led MCA through tremendous growth. Currently, we have 80+ employees working in 3 branch offices. He previously served on the inaugural Dell Partner Council as the first elected chairman. Mike also supports a number of charitable organizations, including Forgotten Child Fund, FCA (board of directors), Young Life and the Central Baptist Church of Hixson. Additionally, he co-founded the Un-Teal There is a Cure foundation.
Our Vice President, Hal Landreth
Hal Landreth leads MCA’s sales strategies. He is directly responsible for the company’s account executives, technical sales teams, sales operations and administration.
Hal is a seasoned sales and business development executive with more than 25 years experience building and managing high-performance direct and indirect sales at MCA. Hal started with MCA part-time as delivery/warehouse staff while he pursued his bachelor’s degree at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga (1990).

MCA Cares About the Community
MCA is proud to support local businesses and non-profit organizations. Each year the Collins family and MCA employees donate their time, talent, goods and money to various causes.
We support a number of local organizations, including the Forgotten Child Fund, making sure each child on the Santa Train route receives a new bicycle along with many other wonderful toys.

Close to Our Hearts
When Karen Collins was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in July 2011, there was nothing to do but to fight. Mike and Karen started a foundation to help find a cure for ovarian cancer. So far, we have raised over $565,000 for ovarian cancer research.
Sadly, Karen lost her battle with ovarian cancer in 2016, but the organization she founded will remain as a legacy of her commitment to eradicating this disease.
The Entire MCA Family Is Committed
Our employees also have plenty of opportunities to use company time and resources to help out.
As a group, MCA employees have donated supplies to Family Promise in Chattanooga and Operation Coffee Cup (a local couple that sends supplies to US troops), walked with Great Strides for Cystic Fibrosis, and raised money for the earthquake victims in Haiti.
Individually, the employees of MCA have supported the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, The Ronald McDonald House, The Chattanooga Food Bank, The American Red Cross, The Helen Distefano Cancer Fund, Blood Assurance, and many other organizations and churches in our community.
MCA is also very proud to be a Bronze Chamber Champion of the Chattanooga Chamber and a Silver sponsor of the Chattanooga Technology Council.
