MCA Time LineMike Collins & Associates, Inc. (MCA) is a privately held company that was founded in 1987. In February 2007, MCA celebrated its 20th anniversary. MCA was started with two employees selling I.T. hardware and has grown to over 50 employees in 3 different cities including Chattanooga, Nashville, and Knoxville with an I.T. service support staff to support every customer’s constantly changing I.T. needs. At MCA, we offer sales, service, depot, networking, security, and leasing – a complete I.T. Solution for our customers. MCA’s expertise allows your company the ability to focus on your business.

Our goal in the Service Industry is to increase your profitability while decreasing your downtime. Our expert field service engineers and onsite depot repair team consists of certified technicians with the knowledge and ability to maintain your I.T. equipment. Our warehouse and service vans are stocked with parts to ensure minimum downtime.

MCA has created strong partnerships with other leaders in the technology field to continue to make sure we are at the cutting edge, giving our customers a distinct advantage. We offer an array of services to meet the constantly changing technological needs of our customers.

MCA saw a need in several of its existing customers to open a service business in 1996.  At that time MCA started the Service Department with two employees and has since grown the Service Department to over 20 employees.  Since 2003, MCA has successfully handled depot technical services for several large industries including the carpet industry, healthcare facilities, and correctional facilities.

In a depot environment MCA has been able to keep inventory for various customers in a database tied to both the internet and the service call system allowing at any time a full report of exactly what equipment is physically in our warehouse.  MCA has the ability to ship spare equipment to locations all over the United States with same day outgoing service.  Through the course of handling depot services MCA has found that every customer is different and we have technicians specialized for each type of equipment that comes in for repair.  Network engineers are also available for specific images and any other technical issues that may arise with making the replacement equipment plug and play and ready for the new site and end user.

MCA has handled a wide scope of equipment from printers, pc’s, Net Gear, servers, Cisco equipment, terminals, monitors, etc.  MCA has also handled third party warranties including all of the logistics involved.  All shipped equipment has specific tracking information that is stored in the service call system.  All MCA customers have direct access to the service call system via MCA’s website and can view information on open and closed service calls at their own convenience.  MCA has the ability to customize each depot program specific to the needs of each customer.
